Para isso, utiliza-se a f&oacute;rmula:<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>p = F\/A<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Conforme o sistema internacional de unidades (SI), a unidade de press&atilde;o ser&aacute; dada por [p] = N\/m<sup>2<\/sup>, que tamb&eacute;m pode ser chamada de pascal (Pa).<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Embora os termos f&iacute;sicos adotem tais padr&otilde;es de medida, no dia a dia e em muitos exerc&iacute;cios de vestibulares encontramos valores mensurados em unidades de atmosfera. Para isso, &eacute; importante saber que a cada 1 atm s&atilde;o contabilizados 10<sup>5 <\/sup>Pa.&nbsp;<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para al&eacute;m da convers&atilde;o supracitada, algumas quest&otilde;es tamb&eacute;m mensuram a unidade de press&atilde;o com mil&iacute;metros de merc&uacute;rio (mmHg). Portanto saiba que:<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1 atm = 10<\/strong><strong><sup>5<\/sup><\/strong><strong> Pa = 760 mmHg<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A press&atilde;o a n&iacute;vel do mar (altitude de 0 m) tem o valor de 1 atm e representa a <span id=\"urn:enhancement-64ca6f33-d09c-4c95-886e-055c1d632f6a\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-creative-work\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl110249\/entity\/forca\">for&ccedil;a<\/span> exercida pelo ar na por&ccedil;&atilde;o mais baixa da atmosfera.
