A partir deles s&atilde;o decodificadas informa&ccedil;&otilde;es para a transcri&ccedil;&atilde;o de prote&iacute;nas e forma&ccedil;&atilde;o de todas as estruturas corporais dos seres vivos;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cromossomo: &eacute; uma grande mol&eacute;cula de DNA compacta que possui as informa&ccedil;&otilde;es gen&eacute;ticas necess&aacute;rias para a manuten&ccedil;&atilde;o da vida naquela c&eacute;lula;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cromossomos hom&oacute;logos:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gene: parte da mol&eacute;cula de DNA que &eacute; respons&aacute;vel pela ativa&ccedil;&atilde;o de mecanismos para a forma&ccedil;&atilde;o de estruturas, mol&eacute;culas, enzimas, organelas ou outras partes do ser vivo em quest&atilde;o.;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Locus ou loci: representa o local em que um gene se localiza em um determinado cromossomo.
