Geralmente, nos esquemas, eles s&atilde;o representados por setas que partem de um objeto luminoso.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A luz emitida pode ter diferentes origens. Quando a fonte luminosa gera luz em si mesma, como as l&acirc;mpadas e o sol, s&atilde;o denominadas de fontes prim&aacute;rias. Entretanto, alguns corpos de luz transmitem uma luminosidade que n&atilde;o prov&eacute;m deles diretamente, como &eacute; o caso da lua, que apenas reflete a luz recebida do sol.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A ilumina&ccedil;&atilde;o pode ocorrer de duas diferentes formas:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A partir de uma fonte pontual, quando apenas um &ldquo;pontinho&rdquo; &eacute; respons&aacute;vel por espalhar a luz para grande &aacute;rea; ou&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Por meio de fonte extensa, quando a fonte luminosa &eacute; consideravelmente maior do que o objeto a ser iluminado, por exemplo uma lanterna clareando uma formiga.<\/li>\n<\/ul><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Um conjunto de <span id=\"urn:enhancement-85afa1ee-0b01-4321-a3db-4962c58fefbd\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl110249\/entity\/raio-luminoso\">raios de luz<\/span> &eacute; chamado de feixe de luz, termo muito empregado para o estudo da <span id=\"urn:enhancement-f901e1a9-f26c-4d92-80eb-1f07cb593207\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-creative-work\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl110249\/entity\/optica\">&oacute;ptica<\/span> <span id=\"urn:enhancement-50ecfab8-e22d-4333-910c-e889132b6207\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl110249\/entity\/geometria\">geom&eacute;trica<\/span>.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quando o feixe luminoso parte de uma fonte pontual, em diversas dire&ccedil;&otilde;es, ele &eacute; chamado de feixe divergente, porque os <span id=\"urn:enhancement-44793536-4ee3-4f4b-bada-7e6b6d11182a\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl110249\/entity\/raio-luminoso\">raios de luz<\/span> divergem na <span id=\"urn:enhancement-6f867eba-8eb2-461f-98f2-f244763a1bf2\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl110249\/entity\/trajetoria\">trajet&oacute;ria<\/span>.&nbsp;<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entretanto, quando utilizamos um objeto que origina <span id=\"urn:enhancement-e6ba815a-b31c-4b50-ad14-5f5d3ff4ff5a\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl110249\/entity\/raio-luminoso\">raios luminosos<\/span> que se concentram em um ponto, entendemos que o trajeto do feixe &eacute; convergente (que se encontra, se une).<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Existem tamb&eacute;m os raios paralelos. O principal exemplo s&atilde;o os feixes solares, que chegam &agrave; superf&iacute;cie da Terra paralelos. Imagine, por exemplo, uma madeira maci&ccedil;a, onde ocorre apenas a reflex&atilde;o da luminosidade;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meios transl&uacute;cidos permitem a passagem de luz, mas parcialmente.
