Quando um mesmo gene pode ser caracterizado por informa&ccedil;&otilde;es gen&eacute;ticas da m&atilde;e e do pai, esses dados s&atilde;o armazenados em cromossomos diferentes, com crom&aacute;tides parecidas.&nbsp;<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cada cromossomo possui uma organiza&ccedil;&atilde;o central chamada de centr&ocirc;mero, respons&aacute;vel por unir as duas crom&aacute;tides que formam aquele componente gen&eacute;tico. Perceba, ent&atilde;o, que essas organiza&ccedil;&otilde;es n&atilde;o podem acontecer em uma c&eacute;lula que n&atilde;o est&aacute; em divis&atilde;o.&nbsp;<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lembre-se o material gen&eacute;tico celular s&oacute; ser&aacute; duplicado quando os est&iacute;mulos externos e internos indicarem um ambiente favor&aacute;vel para a <span id=\"urn:enhancement-97ebc3c6-c8ea-4314-b5fc-c7113090a395\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl110249\/entity\/divisao-celular\">divis&atilde;o celular<\/span>, seja ela mit&oacute;tica ou mei&oacute;tica. Nesse sentido, as crom&aacute;tides-irm&atilde;s s&oacute; ocorrem durante esses processos.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As crom&aacute;tides-irm&atilde;s s&atilde;o geradas durante a <span id=\"urn:enhancement-13cc8fb7-8ebc-4908-a775-a4c741f183ec\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl110249\/entity\/fase-s\">fase S<\/span> do <a href=\"https:\/\/vestibulares.estrategia.com\/portal\/materias\/biologia\/ciclo-celular\/\" target=\"_blank\">ciclo celular<\/a>. Isso faz com que, um cromossomo que s&oacute; tinha um centr&ocirc;mero com bra&ccedil;o curto e bra&ccedil;o longo, agora tenha um total de dois bra&ccedil;os curtos e dois bra&ccedil;os longos, por exemplo.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Note, ainda, que essa duplica&ccedil;&atilde;o precisa ser perfeita, para garantir que as <span id=\"urn:enhancement-086932a5-5685-4ae7-b263-1ec3a9c91062\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl110249\/entity\/celulas\">c&eacute;lulas<\/span> filhas tenham uma identidade <span id=\"urn:enhancement-844b771e-a362-43df-b513-5bf986a8ccbd\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl110249\/entity\/genetica\">gen&eacute;tica<\/span> id&ecirc;ntica &agrave; original.
